Pros

- Clear mantra and goals - people first focused - listens to employees and take action

Cons

- A few teams seem to function in their own world which has led to some employees feeling disengaged and as if they work at another company. That said, I've seen a lot of change and I know it's a top priority for the company.

Pros

They paid me, and gave me a desk

Cons

Do not work here unless you enjoy burnout and stress. Or enjoy being a scapegoat so leadership can save their own scope, or that of their favorites. Do you like a toxic work environment with leaders that make a recent US president look competent? Then work here. But if you don't, avoid like the plague. I am so glad I got out before the pandemic, I didn't think things could get worse but those I kept in touch with have shared true horror stories since the pandemic hit. Do yourself a favor and take an offer elsewhere. Somewhere you'll be valued, leaders take accountability and hold others accountable (including clients) and office politics are less like the actual politics of our nation currently.

Pros

Decent benefits and flexible WFH policy. Executive team is extremely friendly and involved.

Cons

The negative reviews about DDBH being the "mean girls agency" and "clicky" are all very true. You must become one of the "cool kids" quick or you will quickly be left behind. If you are not in this group, your experience will be quite disappointing and your voice will be lost. I did not realize this until it was too late...the lack of diversity on the teams should have been my first sign. I've never worked for such a white company in NYC. There are great people here, but must be on the right team. Senior leadership supports the "mean girl" agency...from supporting the internal "cool kids" in everything they do to talking negatively about clients. A lot of these problems probably stem from people being hired or promoted to positions they should not be in with a lack of experience.
