While the work - if you’re lucky to be put on the right tasks - has the potential to be interesting and challenging, the company culture is bad enough to make you forget that. As a technical resource, the company demands a lot of extra time from you beyond regular work hours without any recognition for over working you.
The company tries hard to sell the fact that there is no drama because the reality is exactly opposite. A lot of politics in the company that will cause you unneeded stress. Management often blames individuals behind their back to cover up mistakes and failings, so be prepared to be thrown under the bus unexpectedly.
The company generally has a toxic attitude of never valuing their employees and sees them as easily dispensable resources.
There is also very little opportunity for growth and high chances of getting stuck doing tasks outside your role. Expressing what work you’d like to do is generally disregarded and will make you enemies.
No conflict resolution strategies in place, bringing an issue to HR is looked down upon and could even get your laid off.
