I have been working at Danone as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

You feel like you're part of a wider effort to help make a difference.
Real pride in our products as well as a belief in what they can achieve.
A team, at both local and global level, that cares about you as a person. This results in a relaxed working atmosphere and an understanding that work is a part of everyone's lives but NOT the only part.

    Cons

We could all do with taking a step back every now and then in order to ensure the continual improvement of our processes and ourselves.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the praise where it's due. Everyone is working towards the same goals and it's showing in our results. It makes a difference to feel recognised. Keep reminding everyone about why we do what we do, not just what we do.

I have been working at Danone full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great team values and the culture is relaxed yet professional. Learning and development is important to the company and they're there to help you grow.
great sense of celebration also and know how to celebrate success as well as helping when help is needed.

    Cons

Sometimes can be hard to merge with other business units regardless of being in the same building.
Needs to be more action taken to fit people into roles that suit them rather than just filling roles.

    Advice to Management

realise the potential to concentrate more on external meetings and processes rather than getting caught up on internal process.
Dont move people from roles and leave them empty for ages

I have been working at Danone full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I'm a first year graduate and really enjoying my role with the company at the moment. Danone give myself and the rest of the grads really rewarding and challenging roles, with lots of responsibility. The company environment is great to get involved in along and Danone run multiple benefits schemes that make you feel like a valued member of the team

    Cons

A very fast paced culture, which a lot of the time means it is hard to stop and reflect on the work that you have done. However Danone work hard to try and reduce this by improving Work-Life balance.

I have been working at Danone full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The key pros are the culture, responsibility, development, work/life balance. The culture is open and collaborative, at every level there is appropriate responsibility - if you wish for more you can voice it and will be listened to, there is scope to sculpt your role into the areas you're most interested in developing as well as there being a strong focus on development with regular catch ups around objectives and personal development. Additionally there is a good work/life balance with flexible working hours, agile working and the flexibility to work from home/another location if desired.

    Cons

From a cons perspective, more could be fed down from senior management for context and wider strategy to lower levels. A few of the processes are not time efficient and therefore return on energy can be lower than necessary and processes become confusing.

    Advice to Management

Feed down more from senior meetings, global meetings so that at an account level it's clear how it fits in.

I have been working at Danone as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Danone is an amazing place to work, you get a lot of responsibility, even as a Placement student. The culture is really strong throughout the business and the way of working is very flexible. You can make the job what you want it to be, taking on more responsibility, wherever you think you can handle it.
The culture very friendly but everyone works incredibly hard.

    Cons

The flexibility of Danone may be difficult for people who have a strong preference for structure to deal with.Knowledge is not always written down and passed on, so it can be difficult initially.
