Pros

The majority of the people here a nice.

Cons

There are two older women here that "run" the office, and they aren't the ones w/the office manager title. Don't fall for the hype that they are tight knit family of admins. If the two women don't like you, it doesn't matter what you do, it won't be corrected. Be prepared to be gossiped about behind your back. The mood of the office depends on if these two woman are in the office, which is sadly is daily.

Pros

There are some stellar people in management and as staff. This is a good firm to work for while looking for a different place - looking for one where you can be appreciated and make a competitive wage.

Cons

Unfortunately this company is so dysfunctional at the partner level that it is just continuing to ride on its previous good name as Day, Berry, and Howard. The staff management are looked down upon and not at all appreciated by the partners. There is a reinforced elitism among the partners that they have created and work hard to reinforce that it even comes to the point where partners cannot be bothered to engage meaningfully with anyone other than their compatriot partners. I was not management but saw this throughout my four years at the firm. There is little to no growth opportunities within the firm so everyone who has ambition to move up the ladder beyond one step has to leave (and we all have) the firm. Compensation rates are also, when compared to competing firms, extremely low with no effort made by management to be competitive.
