Doesn't RecommendPositive OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at De Montfort University full-time for more than a year
Pros
Surprisingly good research culture in places for an ex-poly, good (physical) work environment, good business and professional connections
Cons

Poor promotion prospects except for people in faddish and 'of the moment' initiatives. Oh, and this may sound like a little thing but the parking's rubbish. If you are teaching an evening class 'til late you'll still need to be parked up by 745. That makes for a long, long day.
