I worked at Debevoise & Plimpton

    Pros

As a support person, I found Debevoise a very good place to work. So long as you did not abuse the system they were helpful in return and gave you a lot of freedom in your work. Support staff don't leave very often and there is a good reason why - very good benefits, nice people and a positive (and relatively relaxed/fun) working environment.

    Cons

A management initiative was introduced to report on colleagues' performance confidentially to HR which was (for obvious reasons) very unpopular.

    Cons

Obviously the hours Junior litigators have central staffing, so the first few months assignments were really inconsistent, with some people working crazy hours and others barely working at all.
