Pros

I worked 13 years at Debevoise London as a full-time legal secretary. The pay and conditions are excellent.

I left due to the fact that Office Management will not allow flexible arrangements when caring for a sick family member.

Pros

As a support person, I found Debevoise a very good place to work. So long as you did not abuse the system they were helpful in return and gave you a lot of freedom in your work. They respect your opinions and in my opinion they generally bent over backwards to try to keep the support workforce happy. Support staff don't leave very often and there is a good reason why - very good benefits, nice people and a positive (and relatively relaxed/fun) working environment.

Cons

A management initiative was introduced to report on colleagues' performance confidentially to HR which was (for obvious reasons) very unpopular.
