      Pros

Good support, great teams, global counterparts are proactive and very helpful. The development plans are also great for someone looking to excel within the business

      Cons

There arent many cons, this is one of the few places, where I didnt have any major issues. So much so, that after 3 years in another agency, I can back. I'd say that the only issue I had here is clearer differentiation between the different agencies. Who does what and when we brief or get others involved. Too many agencies in the group that do the same thing, so clearer definition of roles and responsibilities needed here.

      Pros

      Media is a cool industry

      Cons

Overworked, underpaid, noone respects market knowledge or detailed media insight, not worth it. The very few good people in the global headquarters hate it and are leaving

      Pros

Dentsu is good in taking care of its employees - There is friendly, diverse and multicultural environnement (drinks, diners...) It is. a good place to start your career

      Cons

Whilst lateral move between Dentsu's business units can be easy, growth and evolution are pretty slow. Salary are low, in the low range of the industry

      Pros

Great UK team to work with. They try hard to be diverse and inclusive. CEO actually livestreams company wide Q&A's.

      Cons

If you're on a fix-term contract you'll never know if your contract will be renewed until a day or so before your contract expires. Overseas team can be a pain to deal with due to language barriers and poor standards. I spent the first 3 months of my job doing nothing due to an unorganised onboarding and poor management. Poor management and very little communication from line manager. Stuck using old tech. Tech used is normally dictated by an outsourced overseas team which is usually outdated and doesn't fit the requirements. Gets ridiculously political the senior you get and weird little cliques start forming. Impossible to get resources or funding for certain projects, asking dentsu to pay for anything is an impossible wish.

      Pros

Very nice new-build office, high quality IT equipment, good salary for level of role

      Cons

You'll become a trained monkey, helpdesk is a log-and-flog environment with very little scope to be anything other than mildly technical. Management are big on motivational speeches but fail miserably at day-to-day man management. Inflexible home working policies (pre-COVID). High staff turnover. Mind numbing night shifts working through service requests. Idiotic management pet projects such as arbitrary forced formatting of ticket notes.
