Incredible Technology, Toxic Leadership

Pros

Great technology, incredible people, good benefits

Cons

Company has successfully fumbled well over 500 million in funding. Ric is comically unaware that his company is not google, and they now have run out of money. What once was a joyous company to work for with great culture, has slowly nosedived into a toxic work environment. They fired many critical engineers and then realized it was a mistake. Then they tried to rehire them and many did not stay. This is obnoxious incompetence by management and shows how little they comprehend the day to day tasks of their technical teams. Many are leaving and management is reluctant to backfill those roles. Its important that management gets a hold of this toxic atmosphere and steers it back in the right direction.

Pros

You have the opportunity to work with some wonderful individuals who happen to be experts in 3DP.

Cons

Toxic environment lead by poor leaders who lack organization and vision. This is not the case for all departments, but there has been a high turnover lately due to poor management. Earlier days looked a lot better at DM.

Pros

Great technology that has huge potential. Easy exit when I quit. Wonderful promise of advancement and opportunity to grow and build revolutionary technology before DM acquired and fired half of the people.

Cons

Pre-Acquisition companies seemed to do much better before DM purchased them... (I worked for one) Poor leadership from executive management. Downsizing, downsizing, and more downsizing... Taking companies that were profitable and had outstanding tech, IP, and visionaries leading the charge... then DM comes in and kills half the products, fires the visionaries and cuts everyone's pay... Good time to leave I think.
