I have been working at Dream Unlimited full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good compensation Great opportunities for experience and advancement Long-term career opportunities

    Cons

Sometime there's a lot of demand, but at least the work is always interesting and rewarding

I worked at Dream Unlimited full-time

    Pros

    - 95% of the people are fantastic -open workplace culture, overall relaxed environment but hard-working -the company has a great future and is changing the city

    Cons

    - you pay is likely a bit under market rate, try to negotiate salary before you start, otherwise you won't be getting more once you're in - CEO has an inner circle of 5-10 key players, if you are one of them life is demanding but the pay is fantastic. If you work for one of these people your life could be very difficult. A fair amount of nepotism but it's a smaller company and not totally surprising.

I have been working at Dream Unlimited full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Innovative, dynamic, young, energetic. Wholistic approach to land development with land holdings in western Canada that can service a 30+ development pipeline. Always thinking of new ways to service the customer and make their everyday easier and more enjoyable. Elevating the shopping, living, and commuting experience.

    Cons

Sometimes the pace of change is so quick that people get left behind. If you aren't adding value, you are viewed as a liability. Some jobs require consistency, but consistency isn't innovative and dynamic - so regrettably this means the company will perceive and eliminate redundancy.

I have been working at Dream Unlimited full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great company culture & work environment. Whether at project offices or the head office, colleagues are genuinely friendly, positive and helpful. Simply, Dream is a company with big dreams (vision & goals) and relies on empowering it employees to achieve them.

    Cons

There is really none! Truly it depends on your personality and work style....For example, Dream does not limit your focus to one track and instead exposes you to many different aspects of the company and its sub businesses that you can reach out to within the scope of your job. I love that! Others might prefer to be focused on just one track with fixed defined processes - in my prespective those kind of jobs will be taken over by AI!

I have been working at Dream Unlimited full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Dream is a very engaging workplace full of young, smart, motivated and hard-working yet congenial and fun people who collaborate very well across groups and disciplines towards common goals among a wide array of exciting projects & initiatives. Everyone has the opportunity to be seen, heard and contribute on everything, as Dream has a very lean, flat and meritocratic organizational structure with unparalleled access to senior management.

    Cons

As in any lean organization with a variety of external stakeholders and large projects with inherent risks, day-to-day work life can be a grind at times and extended hours are not uncommon. However, these periodic grinds are a normal part of the industry; all onboarding materials & discussions make this clear when hired, teammates & colleagues support one another and pick up the slack when necessary, and we are well-compensated & cared-for as employees. These grinds are also indicative of the opportunities for advancement and development that make Dream a great place to build a career.
