I worked at Dun & Bradstreet full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Culture - has really improved over the years. Employee work life- company does allow employees flexibility to work/work from home Brand - Re-shaped brand with new image, working Strategy - from CEO in US to UK it's fed nicely through the business. Leadership - if you're lucky..it's hit or miss, had both good and bad experiences.

    Cons

Technology - the business side has a lack of understanding technology as they outsource the entire thing. Slow moving - hard to evolve systems due to legacy systems + above statement. Outsource pricing - Completely bonkers the amount the provider estimates costs of small changes within systems. Career moving - Very very hard to move within the company, especially Ops roles in data. Too many managers - not enough people on the ground. Shrinking business - competitors do it better and cheaper.

September 20, 2016Global Head Of Talent

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback here on your experience in the UK office. We take our Glassdoor reviews very seriously and use them to continuously improve the company culture we are working diligently to foster. As you may know, our People Team has been hard at work building a broad curriculum of classes and learning opportunities to enhance employees’ skills and leadership capabilities that will help address your comment about career progression and singular mindsets. I’m glad that you feel we are progressing – at least in the US – toward a great new milestone, but will explore ways of making sure our colleagues in the UK feels connected and very much a part of that progress. If you would like to discuss further, always feel free to reach out via PeopleFeedback@dnb.com

I have been working at Dun & Bradstreet full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    None none none none none

    Cons

Join this organization if you want to be left high and dry and become a beggar overnight. They were planning to send me on a 2 week overseas business trip without actually giving me any funds. I kept begging and finally had to put my papers down on the day of the flight. That's when they transferred half the amount. Now, let's talk about the managers. They literally keep changing like the weather. Every week you will find yourself reporting to a new one. They micro manage you like you're a toddler, make you slog on projects and then finally present all your work using only their name. Now for the best part. We were terminated overnight without any warning but are still being assigned new projects from multiple new managers who continue to micro manage us. Without completing the innumerable, unreasonable requests we receive from them at odd hours of the day, we won't be given our relieving letters or final settlement.
