I have been working at Dune London full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Great benefits, a lot of uniform allowance and 60% discount. There’s a lot of incentives with some great prizes. Training and development is really good too, they care a lot about their staff from sales advisors to management. Commission if you make store targets. A lot of opportunity to progress in positions and stores
Cons
Really unrealistic targets which means you barely get commission. Also don’t feel a great deal of job satisfaction as consistently missing targets because they’re so unrealistically high

Thank you for your feedback, we're glad you have a positive experience while working for Dune. We really do want to ensure our teams feel that there are plenty of opportunities to grow and develop so it's great that you feel that there is!We review the store targets annually to ensure that they are both challenging and realistic. As we know, trade is especially difficult on the high street at the moment but we want to make sure all of our teams still feel motivated to perform to the best of their ability. As you know, one of our core values is Open & Honest may be worth discussing your concerns with your Area Manager.Kind regardsThe HR Team

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at Dune London full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
50% discount, uniform allowance, holiday allowance and the staff I worked with
Cons
The pay needs to be more especially with the amount of work one had to do as a member of management Give dedicated, hardworking staff a chance to progress in the company over externals Lack of staff in during the week meant you were chasing your own tail Delivery was always a nightmare to put away due to lack of space in the stockroom Working lates especially during Christmas 11 pm closing - but that is retail for you Manager was a bully and unsympatheic

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear you feel this way about the management team, hours and wages. Regarding development and progression, it is very important to us as a brand and we look to offer a high level of development initiatives at all levels within the business whether it be via our e-learning modules on Duniverse, in store training or the high level of development courses available on our training calendars, that we have in place in all areas of the business. I can also assure you that we regularly review our salary bandings for our stores to ensure that they are competitive and in line with other retailers. In addition to this we understand that from time to time we do ask our teams to work additional hours to cover absence and peak trading time however, this should always be on a voluntary basis and in line with the availability that all staff provide us with during their interview process. Kind Regards The HR Team

Nothing. Sales prep can be stressful along with serving during busy periods but if you're right for the role it won't bother you.

It’s wonderful to hear you’re so passionate about working with us! We completely agree it is the colleagues around you that make working for The Dune Group so fabulous – of course discount on product sweetens the deal! As you quite rightly say, peak trade can be challenging and it’s great to hear our store teams embrace this and continue to deliver the Dune experience our customers have come to expect! Thank you for your feedback and we look forward to working more closely with you as your progress within our business.

RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Dune London full-time for more than a year
Pros
The salary was good and there were numerous pay rises during my 1 year with the company. All stores in the area usually work quite closely and therefore you are not limited to your own store and can find yourself working across numerous types of stores/concessions. Training days are always happening within the company and they always aim to improve their staffs knowledge of the products and HR policies. Staff discount is fantastic at 50% and uniform allowance is very good and is based on your contracted hours.
Cons
Not a thing, would work for this company again.
