    Pros

    can be fun place to work when we work as a team.

    Cons

    Totally unable to retain 'female' management staff, could be seen as 'discrimination' of the highest order especially at a certain most northerly store. Should be looked into by area manager and HR. Never enough staff on shop floor = customer complaints. Far too much endless & unnecessary moving of goods within the store. Time would be better spent giving to customers instead. Cramming too much on the shop floor making wheel chair access difficult. Grossly lenient on returns to store = harden up.

    Advice to Management

    Sort yourselves out and get back to where you started thinking about the customers and therefore giving all round good value. You are losing the plot trying to get more money, whilst losing the fundamental values that started Dunelm in the first place these are getting lost in the ether.

    Pros

    Discount is generous especially for coffee shop

    Cons

    The company is going backwards. Now more worried about money, than colleagues.
    Senior management are working store colleagues harder than ever in order to make more money, yet those in store are not seeing the rewards. We don't get paid a living wage, and due to lack of leadership, it's impossible for most stores to receive the quarterly bonus.

    Advice to Management

    Go back to how it was. Pay a living wage. Start showing support to store colleagues who are faced with aggressive customers.

    Love the hours x4 shifts f 4 hrs per week - nice atmosphere - great colleagues and nice products in store

    Cons

    Sometimes lack of communication. Staff shortages - particularly on the tills.

    Promote wrong people, very poor recruitment and poor choice of store management

    Pros

    Great management team staff are all welcoming and happy to help. Made alot of friends here in the past year . I enjoy working here , always over time offered if you want it.

    Cons

    Few problems with customers being able to order things online that we dont have on stock for reserve and collect.

    Excellent rates of pay
    Incentives and bonuses for meeting targets each quarter
    Informative and useful training given to all colleagues
    Great team working here, everyone is always willing to help each other out and very friendly
    Excellent management team in place, always on hand to help out and not afraid to get stuck in. Always motivating the team each day and communicating what is happening in store each day/week.

    Cons

    Workload can be heavy with seasonal campaign changes but always well planned out with a team in place to ensure it all goes smoothly

    Keep up the great work!
