Pros
- CEO - The people and exec team are strong / smart - The company values and increasing clarity of purpose - Company performing well and growing - Scale up feel inside a performing business - Get things done attitude with less red-tape than other retailers - Increasingly empowered / autonomous teams
Cons
- Legacy technology that needs replacing (but is happening) - More to do on benefits and policies (but this is changing) - More to do on DEI (this is in focus) - Volume of work do be done can cause work/life to tip the wrong way, but the business is always supportive of correcting (so in that sense it's on you to manage that, which is fine).

Pros
There are certainly more pros than cons to working for Dunelm. The management team generally understands individual circumstances and offers flexibility when required. Cons
Tends to be more evidential benefits for seniors than assistants, such as invites to shows, bonuses, etc. and the pay is not increasing with the living wage.
