I have been working at EBRD for less than a year

    Pros

Great exposure to senior staff and other IFIs. Because of the relatively small size of the institutions compare to the World Bank Group, IMF, etc, you get involved much faster in the decision making process (as a support, e.g analyst doing the dirty job) and if you're pro-active, it is possible not to be exclusively on the receiving end.

    Cons

Top management does not properly plan the workflow and inter-department communication is far from ideal. In general, knowledge management and coordination is definitely not the strentgh. HR department is terrible, insane delays to answer and opaque.
