I have been working at EBRD full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Efficiency programme starting to get into its stride, modernising the areas which need it the most, especially Technology which has a completely new leadership in past few months. Caring and responsible culture, nice people and great benefits. Great balance of being a mainly City-based company without the stresses and pressure faced by neighbouring Banks/IFIs. I really enjoy working here and as an FTC, hope it becomes a job for life.

    Cons

Can be a bit slow and constrained by laborious governance/sign off processes, but these are being steadily addressed.

I have been working at EBRD full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The mission of the institution. Work life balance. Job safety. Diversity. Great support for women.

    Cons

Not merit based. Consensus driven bureaucracy. Most important factor for progress are the number of years spent in a role, regardless of performance. Senior management is low quality.
