    Pros

They are genuinely invested in your development

    Cons

Above a certain level, more money tends to come with varying degrees of leadership responsibilities which isn't necessarily a negative unless you want to stay strictly technical

    Management that actually cares

    Pros

ECS Digital is the first company I've joined that seems to actually care about their employees career progression. From the first time I met my Line Manager and they asked me my career goals, they have made genuine strives to make sure I gain experience in those areas and have given me new responsibilities that were then reflected in the latest salary and bonus reviews. Every day on a project brings unique challenges, some of which can be frustrating. However, ECS Digital hires some of the brightest talent in the industry who are an absolute pleasure to work with, not just from their technical ability, but from their personality as well. By far, the best company I have ever worked for and I have already referred a couple of my friends to work here.

    Cons

None at all. Which is very rare.

    Unreal progression for the determined

    Pros

There are some really smart people who will go above and beyond to help you out.

    Cons

Some of the work can be frustrating. This is largely due to the nature of consultancy and our operating space. That being said, ECS are quite good at combating a lot of the traditional consultancy problems.

    awesome place to work

    Pros

As a consultant you get dropped in to work with different customers, projects and technologies. Awesome place to gain "devops" experience, learn a lot and get big company names on your CV. Learning and knowledge sharing is encouraged and supported. Good pay, although your services will be sold to customers for a way more money. But, despite that you get to work on self-development when not in engagement and frequent going out with team, perks. Lots of young people. Office with playstation, games, beer etc. All expenses paid when going to remote customer sites. Not bad at all, especially if you are younger.

    Cons

These might not apply to everyone, but I struggled with: - frequent travel - office sometimes can be noisy with music, games and feel more like uni, hard to concentrate on remote work with customer - hit and miss with customer project management - "digital" branch is cool, but "corporate" parent not so much - sometimes you might have a very little say on where you will land - location, customer, technology - consulting is full of stress if you set to deliver your best and stick to time lines
