I worked at EF Education First full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    My peers were reasonably nice.

    Cons

You have to work excessively long hours for a wage which works out as less than minimum wage. I would have got more satisfaction from working at B&Q or Tesco and to be honest more fulfilling career prospects. They are understaffed so you basically end up doing the job of two people and continually have senior management breathing down your neck to try and achieve targets...

I worked at EF Education First

      Pros

Awesome director of studies who cares a lot about the welfare of his teachers. A good induction period in which all new teachers are given training and observations before taking over classes. Regular teacher development sessions. Teachers have freedom to plan their lessons creatively and teach in their own style. No micro managing! Tons of resources available for teachers.. Books, games, flashcards, lesson suppliaments....

      Cons

Very long hours during summer and winter months which can be challenging.
