I worked at EFI (Massachusetts) full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Very few remain...insurance is ok.

    Cons

Senior management is like the Trump administration...can’t trust a thing they say. CEO thinks nothing of calling you out and belittling you in front of everybody...

I worked at EFI (Massachusetts) full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Not working there anymore. Insurances were actually pretty good.

    Cons

The entire company is run like an absolute joke. I have no idea how people get into leadership or advanced roles but things like merit, experience, and education aren't usually valued.

I have been working at EFI (Massachusetts) full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Consistent hours. PTO is very aggressive

    Cons

Management treats everyone like they are replaceable. Management acts like they're the only place in town to work at and it should be an honor to be part of efi, guess what it isnt. The CEO I'd an absolute loose cannon and it even scares me to write this.

I worked at EFI (Massachusetts) full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Decent location outside the Boston metropolitan area. Like all companies, there are some good people.

    Cons

Egregiously unprofessional environment. Senior executives sign clients they have no business being in the market for. As a result, unrealistic expectations are put on totally unqualified middle managers and chaos ensues. This issue manifests itself in the form of missed deadlines, illogical workflows and nasty treatment of employees by management. Poor compensation is excused by “great benefits and 401k match” which are actually below market average.

I have been working at EFI (Massachusetts) full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

A collaborative approach to challenges. Leaders are involved with day to day and easily accessible/approachable to every employee. Everyone is always willing to help one another. Continuous improvement all around - Management, systems, products, processes and solutions. If you have the will, EFI will develop your skills. EFI looks to promote from within first.

    Cons

The energy efficiency industry changes a lot and that means the company needs to adjust to those changes. Like any successful company, improving and evolving means upgrading systems. EFI has come along way, improving many systems across the organization which has its short term challenges (and long term benefits).

    Pros

    Cons

Oh Where to start! Very poor office environment - old and yuk Programs and Systems are all dated, slow and obsolete Company has a history of favoritism for promoting Upper management is crass and two faced Very surprised that CEO gets away with creating such a hostile and discriminatory environment - mostly by him! People are too afraid to complain to anyone for fear of retaliation from CEO Poor pay rates Treat employees and temps like slave labor

    Pros

I cannot think of any pros.

    Cons

Management is a disaster. The President is rude and outright disrespectful. If you work in a support role, don't expect a lunch break as you'll work right through lunch due to the lack of employees.
