    Pros

    -Staff are experts in the Electricity settlement industry and also friendly.
    -Good work/life balance
    -Excellent staff benefits
    -Transparent leadership

    Cons

    Since it's a small company, not much room for career progression.

    Pros

    Excellent training programmes over the years.
    Good bonuses, though better for those that were there in beginning with final salary pension
    Fairly good work life balance
    Nice office
    Many helpful and friendly people - it's only asset. I still work with many in cooperation.
    Not for profit with protected bites - both it's strength and it's weakness. Security of job.

    Cons

    Lack of opportunities to progress and when there are, the criteria is managed so that the desired potential internal candidate gets it.
    Vires not unlocked, so lack of expansion opportunities.
    Lack of delegation and autonomy.
    High turnover of staff, many left for rival companies that provide opportunities.
    Communication is carefully controlled.
    Risk adverse.

    Advice to Management

    Provide autonomy to staff
    Trust staff to work from home
    Accept that vires limitation protects you from competition
    Accept that lack of opportunities means staff will move on.
    Stop spinning staff survey results and failings, staff know what is going on.

    Pros

    Good work-life flexibility.
    Nice and supportive people to work with, though this varies depending on the manager and the team you join.
    Good career option if you are interested in the field of data analytics.

    Cons

    Trainees are treated with disdain and don't receive any proper job training; less desirable and unwanted tasks are packaged as "learning opportunities" instead.
    Rigid work environment; many paperwork chores and bureaucratic hurdles to clear before you can change anything.
    Signs of poor employee morale were not picked up and addressed by the management early enough, and this culminated in a high turnover last year.

    Advice to Management

    Stay in touch with your rank-and-file employees. Take interest in their long term career development, and don't just look upon them as short term resources.

    Excellent training opportunities
    Good work/life balance
    Teams really work together
    Supportive management
    The 'on-boarding' process is the best one I've experienced

    Cons

    As the company is so small, there isn't much room for career progression within teams- you'd have to wait for somebody to leave

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing- I'm really enjoying working at ELEXON so far and feel very much part of the organisation a little over a month in.

    Nice people to work with
    Some real industry experts to learn from
    Good benefit package
    Good work and life balance

    Very procedure focused
    Lack of interesting works and career progression
    Job can be repetitive
    No promotion until there is a vacancy due to someone above leaves or team restructuring

    Advice to Management

    Create more competitive environment and get rid of people who are unproductive and incompetent.

    More rewards for those who outperform.

    Very incompetent HR, they get wrong all payslips.
    Absent management, cares only for own personal interests
    Low pay
    Non existent career opportunities

    Advice to Management

    Learn how to treat people working for you. Get on a course for ethics on work environments.
    Stop wasting time with useless chatter and politics.

    Pros

    It has some of the brightest, most professional and self motivated people that I have met. The people are definitely the key unique driving factor behinds it's current and future success.

    Cons

    There are no cons I can think off. Overall I was very happy working there.

    I have been working at ELEXON full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    ELEXON is about it's people, they have a fantastic benefits package (Great Pension, Private Medical Insurance, EAP, Subsidised Gym Membership, Eye Care, Cycle to Work, Child Care Vouchers etc) gernerous holiday allowance, CSR programme (2 days to contribute to charity, charity contribution scheme when participating in a charity event, support charities nominated by staff with fundraising activities, environmentally friendly) they are flexible (laptops, working from home, working hours) office location and facilities are great (free fruit 2x a week, coffee/water machines, close to shops/parks) you can have open conversations with colleagues, staff have a wealth of industry knowledge and will openly help anyone new to the business to pass on that knowledge. They provide great training opportunities and will help with anything you wish to develop. The new starter induction is great you get time to meet with each Executive member plus introduced to colleagues as the business is only 100 employees.

    Cons

    Accountability/relevant action by senior management is not always there when processes are not followed/when staff go against policy or act against company values.
    Management lines can sometimes be blured due to the relaxed nature of the business.
