Pros

If you want to work in the systems development business in Rutherford County Tennessee.

Cons

Arrogant owner. Middle management is meek and frightened. Long hours, little praise, plenty of criticism. Coding techniques are non-standard and won't prepare you for work elsewhere.

Pros

Interesting and challenging work. You are compensated for extra hours worked and travel. The senior engineering/project management staff is friendly and a pleasure to work with. Very diverse industries to work in. You will definitely not get bored with repetitive work. They are great about helping you acheive goals in career development as an engineer.

Cons

Long hours, plenty of weekend hours, travel, night shift, and frequent schedule changes make making plans difficult and often have to cancel last minute. Work life balance is definitely on the workaholic side of things. Some love that but some don't. If you don't, this may be frustrating for you.

A Great and Active Workplace

Pros

Quality employees from administration to engineering. It seems like all employees are encouraging to each other and aspire to great things for PREMIER. The pay, bonuses, benefits, and other incentives are very rewarding compared to other companies and/or positions in the area of Middle Tennessee. The company is not too big and also not small, makes it great when talking and getting to know other co-workers. Encourages cooperative programs for college students in which they earn a lot of hard-to-find experience and knowledge.

Cons

Likely to be 45-50 hours on average a week for some engineers and technicians. Low customer base (which still offers plenty of lucrative work)
