I have been working at EPAM full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Fair pay, some nice people like any company of this size. Free lunch on Friday.

    Cons

Uk has a pretty poor people culture, weak management and little direction. It’s a East European body shop. Talent pool at the end of life.like working for a old school public sector organisation. Driven by a rather outdated sales process. Not an inspirational or exciting company to work for. Rather old fashion company with poor growth potential unless your ‘Russian’. Unless your money driven, or looking for the last role before retirement, you will soon deskill yourself.

    I worked at EPAM

    Pros

You may work in a range of client companies you wouldn’t normally get access to as a contractor.

    Cons

Recruited in London and possibly deployed anywhere in the U.K. and that’s how they ease you out of the door when you burnout, you get assigned to somewhere you couldn’t sustain a commute. Experience here builds to nothing as you are switched reactively between business domains, technology stacks, class of solution, phase of delivery, engagement types, and delivery approaches. You may as well sign up to a commitment for blind-date contracting; the amount of support you get makes it basically just that.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at EPAM full-time for more than a year

    Pros

People at your own level are generally nice to work with

    Cons

Senior Management. Too much talk and little action. They have total disrespect for employees, often rude. A do as I say not as I do, sort of attitude prevails in the London management team.

    I worked at EPAM full-time

    Pros

People are usually knowledgeable. Some roles pay well. With some clients, it's an intereesting environment.

    Cons

Mainly, the company tends to hire professionals with higher skills, offering them roles for lower skills. Result: you have a highly skilled expert who's paid below what it could be paid. Some excuses during the offering stage are: "We work will high calibre people, like Google.., so we have higher standards and you previous job/role isn't a good indication of what role you could have here.." Why do you take for granted that high calibre people are only in companies like Google? You are diminishing the value of your company if you say so, as you're trying to compensate the fact that no one knows you with the fact that you'd like to be in the spotlight like a more renowed vendor, like Google. Ridiculous and contorted. Very rigid schedule. No remote working, at least in my role. IT professionals should be able to work remotely 99% of the times (where are all those people on the subway going??).
