I worked at EY full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent training programme with outstanding mentoring. Exceptional Clients. Professional Environment. Clear career progression. Good salary and benefits package.

    Cons

There was not enough work in the summer months for trainees (quite a bit of time wasted trying to look busy) - but I was there over 10 years ago so this could have changed (last year of employment box - only allows you to go back to 2014).

    Advice to Management

Make sure that there is sufficient work for trainees over the summer months. If not consider offering staff a long summer vacation (like for teachers) with salary pro-rated over the 12 months (but with consequent reduction in pay)!

I have been working at EY full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Enjoyable scope of work (providing that you a resourced into interesting engagements), strong work/life balance and excessively pleasant working environment with brilliant people.

    Cons

Incredibly luck-based as to what projects you get placed on as a graduate, which could see you being sent across the country to work on an uninteresting engagement.

    Advice to Management

Be brutally honest upfront with regards to what graduates should expect from the work that they will be doing - a best-case scenario is often presented as what everyone should expect, when this isn't the case.
