    Pros

    Exposure to a broad range of companies in the financial services industry.

    Cons

    Learning and growing at the senior level could be more supported by the firm. The primary focus is on the expertise brought in by senior level resource but career aspirations for the individual is not very well supported.

    Advice to Management

    Support externally hired senior level resources in competencies beyond sales.

    I have been working at EY full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great people, great experience. Lots of stretching opportunities. EY London is very diverse and is a very people oriented firm. They are making changes to encourage agile working.

    Cons

    Salaries within Assurance is poor. Promotion process is very political and not transparent. Working hours can be long depending on what project you're on.

    Able to meet lots of great people. Your weaknesses in the workplace will quickly come to light during feedback processes to make you a better worker.

    Cons

    Working hours are very invariable. As a service provider, you are at the mercy of your client.

    Think through large changes before implementation.

    Really enriching experience, lots of freedom and flexibility, a mature working environment

    Cons

    Very political, need a strong sponsor for advancement

    Advice to Management

    Could do more to retain their minorities, they tend to leave quite disappointed in the process. Keep the focus on the values which was a major selling point for experienced hires

    Work life balance in Advisory is good. Pretty flexible place to work. Good career progression.

    Cons

    Yearly promotion cycles - would be better if they were more frequent
