I have been working at EY full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Good culture, occasional flexible working

    Cons

No bonuses for assurance associates below manager level. Poor employee retention for qualified executives (seniors), thus high employee turnover rate. Long hours during busy season (January-March).

Include bonuses for associates below manager level, especially for executives. High employee turnover rate among qualified executives due to lack of retention initiatives.

    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

    I worked at EY full-time

    Pros

OTS - IT has varied work but predominately just creating decks of slides.

    Cons

IT part of OTS work is more of PMO oriented and diligence report. Just creating decks of Slides with no value add. No scope for a solution based consulting. People with specific SME skills would be put in generic work which won't help them in the long run.

I worked at EY full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Excellent package (no real bonus though), full flexible working, great clients and projects, amazing people, brilliant support network and support in career development, fantastic training, inclusive environment

    Cons

Difficult to get promoted, as so many talented peers and very in-transparent system, not easy to get on projects abroad

    Advice to Management

Make promotion system more transparent, resourcing projects is often hit and miss, rather than truly skills/experience based
