      Pros

A lot of responsibility and autonomy given, with 0 micro-management and you get to work with a lot of really smart people.

      Cons

Occasionally there are silos within departments which does mean things can get political.

      Solid, professional, courteous, smart

      Pros

The team are highly professional, great at nailing the details, opinionated about style (where they need to be) and otherwise stay out of your way. You get to work with smart people who do their best not to waste your time and pay you well if you have the chops for the work. Simply a great place to be if you can get in. They pay on time!

      Cons

      - Hands-off style could be daunting if you're used to more guidance or editorial oversight. But if you can take initiative and work proactively this shouldn't bother you and may in fact be a plus. - Some workflows would be a little more pleasant if they invested in in-house solutions.

      Pros

Lots of smart people, high-quality content

      Cons

Things move slowly, limited interaction between commercial and editorial teams which leads to less productive relationships and duplicate efforts

      Pros

Smart people, great brand, decent opportunities to take on new projects

      Cons

Way too lean, they overwork employees regularly, very little opportunity for growth, low salaries, no real vision and a limited understanding of market trends.
