Pros

I recently joined Electronic Arts and over the past year I have seen that I made the right decision. The company culture has been dramatically shifted since the current CEO took over to a highly positive one behind the mantra of "Player First". EA is 100% behind producing great products for people to enjoy and that has had a knock on effect to a very positive working environment where all feel welcome. The facilities are great and all the teams and individuals are great to work with.

Cons

Certain times of year prove very stressful with tight deadlines (launch period). As with all large companies there is a huge number of people working here so you cannot expect to make an impact straight away.

C level individuals collect massive annual bonuses despite laying off employees when a game tanks. I witnessed management laughing and making jokes about how white their sneakers were as they walked from meeting room to meeting room to furlough people. Managers would frequently dodge, reschedule and no-show to meetings in regards to contractors inquiring about trying to renew their employment.
