Pros
- Extremely supportive environment across all people and teams. Supportive in day-to-day work, everyone is ready to lend a hand (with a smile) and with personal things too like taking leave, special requests, support (including $) for career growth and development
- It's a small size (less than 40 people on average) so you get to know everyone and there's always a familiar face, no matter what you are doing! The vibe of the physical office is a loft family room feel, which makes you feel relaxed.
- Endless opportunities to stretch your skillset in big and small ways, you will never get a 'no' when trying to take initiative or grow into areas beyond your core role.
Cons
- Small offices can sometimes breed drama, so you have to make a conscious choice to not get sucked into that
- Definitely, a rollercoaster when it comes to some of the $ targets and other KPIs. It's hard to know if the company is actually doing poorly or doing well, even when you have the numbers in front of you.
- Some all-hands meetings lack the enthusiasm to really motivate you to do better and strive for excellence.
