Pros
I work with extremely hard working team members that make my days more fun and enjoyable. The company is working hard to improve the culture after all of the acquisitions, but there is still a long way to go. For now, progress is progress. Each day is a new challenge for me, and I appreciate the challenges as they come. Some are more difficult (and frustrating) than others, but it keeps me engaged. Mostly, I respect that people love what they're doing. They may not love the rules and regulations we have to work under, but we can always rely on each other.
Cons
We need to appreciate our people more and celebrate their hard work even when the revenue isn't there. We need to empower our teammates to make changes/decisions when needed rather than inhibit them until a higher power gives the green light - especially on smaller tasks and functions.
