Pros
Work from home, that's literally it.
Cons
If it was possible to give this company zero stars, I would. Upon being hired, it was continued lie after lie from management on our project. We were the only project on Activus that equipment was provided to, it was terrible equipment and the specs barely did our job, but we all had to use that for over a year. We were told countless times we would be getting new, better equipment.. LIE. Told several times more people would be hired because we were going to get higher roles, such as Senior Mods, Investigations, etc so there was room for growth... LIE. Contract randomly ended in September, people were let go on that same day with NO idea what was happening, NO warning, NO severance, NOTHING. Activus had NOWHERE for their 100+ Content Moderators or their Team Leads to go. After the news that the contract ended, the senior manager was never to be seen again and "lower management" was left to handle the disaster ending of the project. However, that same Senior Manager was the only one left with a job on a different project, so if you become a senior in your years of employment with hardly no raise, I guess *MAYBE* you have job security! We were also told that if there was any open positions at Activus we could reapply and we would have priority since we were all laid off... wow, another LIE! Since then Activus has had open positions but instead of transferring us and moving us as previous employees, they wanted us to reapply and reinterview. It's ridiculous and I amongst many others are extremely disappointed in leadership, management and the company as a whole. If you're looking for a place to grow, a place to be valued, appreciated and have a career, I would tell you to run the other way.
