Pros

• Comprehensive vision, dental, and medical benefits package • Loved the people that I specifically worked with on my alignment • Opportunity to work on campaigns for high profile clients on constantly changing pipeline of work

Cons

• Posting fake, nondescript reviews on Glassdoor • There is 1 HR person for a company of ~300 employees • No accountability from upper management or department leads for their own actions or lack of leadership • Constant prioritization of profits over people with little to no actual regard for employee wellbeing or mental health • Members from all levels of leadership resistant to constructive feedback that would challenge the status quo or divert revenue toward investing in employees • Consistent promotion of incompetent employees, especially to director/VP/SVP positions • Pervasive toxic positivity and mentality of denial - "you can't solve problems if you drown them in happiness or pretend they don't exist" • Inclusivity and diversity continue to be afterthoughts, as opposed to values • Creative-specific: absence of opportunity for upward mobility because the team is 1/3 directors • Creative-specific: previous point has led to hiring strictly junior designers to replace senior positions, which is exploitative and ensures that 'designer' or 'senior designer' workloads are dumped on junior designers • Creative-specific: leadership dismissive and often in denial about feedback provided or will ask you to come up with a solution instead of being collaborative or, frankly, doing their own jobs • Creative-specific: double standard in that behavior that leadership finds problematic when it comes from a designer position is often applauded when it comes from a fellow director
