I worked at Alexis Bittar full-time for more than a year
Pros
There was a freedom to make the position your own
Not micromanaged at all
Creative expression and ideas welcome
Cons
Lack of leadership where it mattered- corporate
Zero support in marketing from corporate. Social media was a joke and events were a joke as well. Didn't believe in ads. REALLY? In this day and age.
Relied WAY too heavily on clientile list and ZERO strategy on how to encourage and appeal to a new audience
An embarrasing disconnect between ecommerce sales, boutiques, and wholesale at other retailers. Not cohesive at all and would cause lots of issues in regards to returns.
Quality of product declined over the years to the point where the product was not worth the price tag and customers could tell however we were expected to peddle it.
Alexis leaving the company was kept hush hush; many clients didn't even realize Alexis hadn't been involved with company for over 5 years- I thought that very decietful.
