Pros
Good 401k match, company doesn't make it "arbitrary" in tough times Good benefit package, strong employee assistance (emergency childcare, paternity leave)
Cons
Corporate seems to favor it's Ireland and MA engineers - important to be "known" by technology VPs located in MA in order to progress to highest technical levels. ADI is employer of choice in MA, but not in Silicon Valley - compensation is not as competitive unless you're a new hire. Very stingy with RSUs/equity program.
