Great people & culture - Senior QA Engineer Appcues Employee Review

This is hands down one of the best places I have ever worked. The people are real and transparent. Both peers and management are open to to discussions and feedback to make the team, product or culture better. They were very communicative during the interview process and I always knew what was coming next, including a timeframe of when to expect it. Remote onboarding was very thorough and gave me a great introduction to the product, tools and people over the first few weeks. I always joke how I met more people in the first week remotely than I have in an office environment in the past... and it's true! Speaking of remote, its done right. There are many opportunities to socialize over lunches, fun events, and daily interactions. The engineering teams move quickly, but with plenty of time for clarity and understanding around features/projects under development. All team members feedback is taken in regards to brainstorming, design, process, etc. Also, they understand work/life balance. The goal is not to see how many hours you can put in up to a release, but the opposite. I highly recommend Appcues!
