Pros

BLUF: ARS cares about its employees, and offers great pay along with some limited training and educational opportunities. PTO & 401K packages are fantastic. Leadership at ARS's is fantastic across all levels. The company's founding partners are both grounded and approachable people, which is almost unheard of elsewhere. That approachability remains intact across all levels of management. Set schedules and work hours are defined and strictly scoped by governing contracts, removing the need to worry about 'overtime', which is excellent for planning personal time. Most customers also allow for a compressed work schedule with some remote work (hybrid) offerings.

Cons

Things can get messy if you are a contractor supporting a government customer. ARS is limited in what they can and cannot due to empower their contractors. Chains of command also can be very messy with multiple 'bosses', depending on the team structure on the customer's side. The remote (hybrid) work schedule is likely to end for all contractors supporting government customers.

Pros

ARS is a strong company to work for. The organization is supportive, the team is great, and I have had a positive experience with the culture overall. The company offers strong benefits, professional development opportunities, and a workplace environment where employees feel valued and supported. Even though my day-to-day responsibilities are tied to my role as a contractor supporting the Air Force, ARS has consistently been a positive and reliable employer.

Cons

One area for improvement would be more consistent company-wide status communications. Regular weekly or monthly updates on company news, priorities, growth, and overall direction would help employees feel even more connected and informed.

Pros

Very flexible with work schedules. Great benefits and pay.

Cons

Lack of training and leadership for new employees and favoritism is obvious from upper management.
