Pros

The only real positive was that it encouraged many talented employees to leave and find organizations that genuinely value their people.

Cons

Executive leadership consistently demonstrated a disregard for employee expertise and the realities of day-to-day operations. Communication from the top relied heavily on vague talking points rather than clear, transparent information, leaving employees uncertain about the company’s direction. Statements about compensation and benefits often did not align with what employees ultimately received, which significantly eroded trust. Employees who raised reasonable questions or attempted to seek clarification were frequently met with hostility rather than constructive dialogue. Messaging from leadership repeatedly conflicted with the decisions that eventually followed, creating confusion and a growing sense that employees were being misled. Strategic and financial decisions appeared to stall meaningful company growth while creating a constant atmosphere of instability and fear of layoffs. Over time, trust in executive leadership deteriorated significantly, and the sustained stress of the environment took a noticeable toll on employee morale and well being. The combination of misleading communication, disregard for employee expertise, and frequent hostile responses made it clear that executive leadership prioritized appearances over the people who drive the company’s success.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear this was your experience. We recognise that periods of change can feel uncertain, and we know we won’t always get communication right. We also know our leaders do not avoid difficult messages — they share what they can, when they can, and they take colleague questions and feedback seriously. We're sorry this hasn't been your experience, and we will continue to explore how we can improve in this area. Thank you again for your honesty.
