The major downside is the remuneration. The pension contributions were below average, the salary was below to average but the performance related pay year on year was terrible. I've since left but I hear the same excuse they gave me 6 years ago is still being used to give the vast majority of their employees below inflation increases. Due to this remuneration issue, all the talent leaves and all that is left is either incompetence or complacency.
