Pros
Help with visa process through an agency The person who took care of me while I was in the process of finding a client was a really good person. Attentive, concerned about my issues and my fear of not getting any contact from their clients managers.
Cons
Bad management. They overestimated the amount of devs needed for the first semester of 2023 and brought a lot of developers from other countries, me included. Some of them didn't even made the country, they were laid off in Brazil still. Their clients don't need as much developers as they first accounted for and now they're unable to find a job for everyone. That being said: me and a few collegues that came from Brazil we're laid off because of this. And, of course, the saddest part is: being a junior consultant and being sold as a senior. Of course devs find it hard to fit their client's expectations. My latest "interview" was with the HR department of a client and the feedback was: "you don't have the experience needed for this project". Mind you, I didn't even got to the part of being tested. Of course, they must have seen that through my CV. So, yeah.... I'm glad that I have a back up plan regarding citizenship. But people who don't have it will find it hard in the near future. One last thing: terrible feedback culture. Their managers simply don't give you enough attention for a feedback on your interview process. Of all 5 that I had been in contact with, just one (listed above) sent me a feedback. The others I either had to look for the feedback, or figure it out by myself that if I hadn't heard of them it meant that I was disqualified of the process.
