Pros
I believe Axis is a great company. Not being from the industry, it is amazing to see how much we can elevate our education about it through this organization. We have many technology partners, certification opportunities, and natural networking that I have not seen in my previous tech services industry. I think this is not a place to stay complacent, but rather to make use of the opportunity of being a main player in the physical network tech industry. I have learned so much about physical network hardware, and how it ties into IT, security, operations, and electricity. Its just really cool to be able to openly meet people well versed in different things, but maybe it's also because I like to ask questions. I think the only thing holding me back is the pay. Being in sales, I am used to getting paid a bit more for the work I do, but it's not a bad compensation structure, with great benefits, good amount of PTO, and really being next to smart people that like their job.
Cons
Pay is fair, but I have been offered more. The reason I chose to be here is that I came for education and being with a smart and forward thinking company, so I did not mind the pay. Also, some offices have team members that need to come in 5 days a week. They are a little behind innovating the workplace and attracting a new generation of intelligent, hybrid workers with strict office days. I think it is important for people to be able to take hybrid days due to the culture of COVID and how our society had to develop office habits at home to be efficient, company-wide.
