      Pros

      - A good product that customers are very engaged with and there is a great market fit. -A great focus for customers and their success with the product. -Some great people, who have brilliant characters and alongside that are incredibly bright. -Great benefits

      Cons

      -The total disregard for honesty and the importance of values. -My major con is the great people who sadly are being wasted in a toxic/ throw away culture. -The lack of consistency in who they want working in the start-up.

We acknowledge that there are changes in moving from startup life to a more scaled, and rapidly growing company, and that expectations and business priorities can rapidly evolve as a result. Our extremely high expectations of everyone at Beyond directly contributed to us having a market-leading product and a top-notch customer focus. Regardless, we never want those high expectations (and pace of change) to lead to anyone feeling like they are expendable. We value the work that every individual, past and present, has put into the company to make it successful. We are saddened to hear that you did not feel that was your experience.       Pros

      Beyond has a strong mission, talented employees, and opportunities to work on meaningful projects. I enjoyed collaborating with cross-functional teams and appreciated the chance to contribute to innovative work. The people I worked with were supportive, skilled, and passionate about what they do. I also gained valuable experience and grew professionally during my time here.

      Cons

      The culture shifted significantly following management changes. There was an increased emphasis on oversight, administrative tracking, and process, which reduced autonomy and trust. As a designer, I found myself spending more time documenting work than focusing on design and creative problem-solving. Unlimited PTO policies felt restrictive in practice, making it difficult to fully disconnect and recharge. Workload distribution at times appeared inconsistent, which could impact morale and growth opportunities. These factors contributed to burnout and ultimately influenced my decision to leave.
