For many reasons, employees are leaving at alarming rates. There is no proper internal organisation and everything seems chaotic.
The management team has also created a large rift between themselves and everyone else. Rather than address root causes of company issues, employees are blamed and severely micromanaged. They refuse to listen when suggestions are made, and those bringing up issues are often reprimanded at best or fired at worst. They have unknowingly trained employees to paint a pretty picture that everything is fine, rather than tell the truth when reporting upwards because of this culture of retribution.
Outside of the development team and brand new starters, there are few employees who aren't searching for new jobs, and conversations are openly had amongst employees about how interviews are going and who will be the next to quit.
