Pros

None, they mislead you into taking a three week unpaid training with no promise of work. Rate them less than zero.

Cons

Unethical university. Unpaid "hunger games" style unpaid training that leads to being ghosted even if you do all the work.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. At CSU Global, we strive to maintain a culture of transparency and respect for all our faculty and prospective faculty members, and we take your concerns seriously. Our goal is to ensure that our hiring process is a meaningful investment in our faculty’s success. We view the mentored course period as a vital step in that process. It is designed to ensure that all prospective faculty are fully prepared to deliver the high standard of education our students expect and deserve. This phase allows us to confirm that an instructor’s teaching style aligns with our specific curriculum and student needs before a formal appointment is made. We recognize that this is a time commitment for professionals. To ensure all candidates receive clear expectations, it is part of our process to provide clear communication on the course and its timeline in the initial interview process, as well as provide updates to all candidates on the results. We would appreciate the opportunity to learn more about your specific experience; please reach out to our Human Resources team directly so we can address your concerns and work toward continuously improving our processes for future candidates.

Pros

Fully remote work and I get to work with a great team that is hard working and supporting.

Cons

The workload is pretty heavy, so if you don't enjoy your job, it would be hard to stay motivated and keep up the pace.

Pros

Some of the employees are hardworking and genuinely care about student outcomes. As a contractor, I’ve met great people who try to do their best despite poor direction from leadership.

Cons

Leadership at VP level is deeply incompetent. VP in charge has no understanding of basic KPIs or operational strategy. Constant back-and-forth — one step forward two steps back — kills productivity and morale. The department lacks vision, and there’s zero accountability for missed goals. Enrollment numbers have been declining for months, and the university hasn’t hit its targets for six straight months. Instead of addressing root causes, VP wants to hire more unqualified consulting companies.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We’re glad to hear you’ve had positive interactions with colleagues who are dedicated to supporting students and doing their best work every day. We also take seriously the concerns you’ve raised. The university is embarking on a strategic plan to drive growth in an increasingly competitive higher education landscape, and with that comes the need to align our operational strategy, approach, and vendor partners and to remain agile. We recognize that periods of change can be challenging, and we will continue to strive to ensure decisions are effectively communicated to employees and contractors alike. In the last several months, we have launched new initiatives to strengthen our enrollment strategy, refine KPIs that guide our work, improve cross-department planning, and drive performance. Input from both employees and contractors is important, and we welcome constructive feedback that helps us identify opportunities to improve. We encourage team members to share insights directly with their leaders or through our internal feedback channels so we can continue building a stronger, more collaborative environment.
