I have been working at Cambridge Consultants full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Cambridge Consultants works very hard to offer good staff benefits and to provide a supportive working culture - and succeeds for the most part. The experience of working here varies according to whether you're an engineer/technologist - challenged to have high billability - or not. That clearly brings its own pressures, but the work is often genuinely innovative and stimulating. The CEO is still fairly new, but is... steering the ship well.

    Cons

The business is still sometimes rather conservative, which can put it at odds with the instincts of ambitious, younger staff. It's also very lacking in diversity at the top, which will get increasingly embarrassing unless properly addressed.

    Advice to Management

Address the diversity issue at the top of the organisation.

    Cons

Not really a Con; but be prepared to internally network on what projects are available and can use your specific expertise. Requires a bit of proactive effort and interpersonal skills.
