Pros
-consistent full time schedule -great coworkers -PTO, 401k, Decent vision and dental insurance -great experience in management and time management skills -escalating attendance bonuses -fairly relaxed dress code -opportunities to advance further in the company
Cons
-Sometimes unreasonable expectations from superiors -poor health insurance plan -stressful work environment where many daily, weekly and monthly deadlines must be met -pay increases are very meager, about 60 cents increase per hour a year if you do everything right and your supervisor favors you -hours are very unflexible: everyone must work at least 1 weekend day per week and many must work both weekend days. you are also limited between a second shift schedule or a 1st shift that starts very early (around 6am start for most) and if you require a schedule change it will likely take several months to be approved minimum. You are also expected to work holidays if they fall on your regularly scheduled days. If you are sick and have to take time off this cuts into your PTO hours. As a result most supervisors come to work sick and colds/flu spreads like wildfire
