I have been working at Cloudreach full-time for more than a year

    Pros

"Unlimited" time off within reason Can be fully remote if you want You get to work with a lot of cool tech

    Cons

There's been restructuring going on within senior management for the last 6ish months since Relus was acquired. Some senior engineers have also been leaving for better opportunities, which I don't fault them for since it doesn't seem like there's a clear vision for what we're doing. Granted, this review is getting created at a time where "apparently" all of this is going to get answered, but it doesn't make it that much...

It seems like you all are coming up with answers to pretty much everything that I listed in "Cons", so hopefully that's the answer everyone is looking for.

I have been working at Cloudreach full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There are still some great people at Cloudreach below the senior management level who go above and beyond to try and make this a great place to work. Despite the nice to haves being reduced there are still many perks to work at Cloudreach. The company has ambition and aims to be a market leader. Middle management are still worth following.

    Cons

The hypergrowth has diluted the feel of working for an exciting start up, as such it has become like any other big business without the bonus of established routines, processes and equivalent renumeration. The company has shifted from being European led to being American run (this is only a con if you prefer the former) with a change in focus, priorities and leadership style. Although I was not aiming for any promotions...

    Advice to Management

When I joined the company everyone around me said it was a great place to work. Now it feels like the only people who say this are the higher echelons of the business to the point it feels Orwellian. This, I feel, is the wrong way round and consideration should be made of what worked previously and how it can be infused with the current direction.
