Pros
The work is interesting, especially if you're new to the industry. There are moments when it's even exciting. The people you'll work with are, for the most part, very friendly and the environment inviting. Most people either love the job or hate it. There's little in between.
Cons
There is little opportunity for growth. If you are selected to be in a leadership position the pay does not match the level of responsibility you are given. Everyone gets paid the same salary whether you have zero years of experience or 20 years of experience which makes people very frustrated and most people end up leaving after a few years. That same frustration makes it hard to incentivize employees with years of experience to help train new employees.
This company is very top heavy. There is a clear distinction between the "office" employees and the linguists. Some employees in the corporate office are very condescending and unprofessional.
