Pros
I was part of a wonderfully diverse and supportive team. The individuality found in each person was refreshing and beautiful to see despite the environment we were a part of. Made some wonderful friendships that are still ongoing now. Had great opportunities to travel to different places, and if you invested way more time than is healthy, you would get a good paycheck at the end. That is, if everybody played fair. Everybody brought along good ideas and feedback in how to improve strategies.
Cons
Biggest problem is the management. The diversity went down drastically throughout the last year, or at least while I was there, things changed fast, and not for the better. A lot of the great feedback mentioned above was listened to but not heard or taken into consideration. Big mistake. Implemented changes to ones payment affected how much one had to work. Before, you were promised good rewards for good work. After, you had to give up your time and soul and morals, to even make half of what you could make before. Promises were constantly made that were never kept. You had to swallow your pride most of the time. You get sucked into the toxicity and harmful competitiveness which far surpassed the fine line between being healthy and unhealthy. The amount of women in the organisation went down, and new hires were usually found through internal connections. Career progression is mentioned and promised, but new obstacles are put in place every time one of these progressions should take place. It's a shame. There is great potential, but it's constantly tainted and missed.
