Pros

Excellent team, family-like environment. The technology is amazing and helping patients in the field every day.

Cons

Stability is unclear. Several recent rounds of lay-offs have tanked morale. Focused on sales such that product development is taking a hit and becoming very slow.

Pros

I really enjoyed working here. Everyone got on well, and while I understand there was a modicum of inter-office drama it was nowhere near me and anyone else with whom I worked. The work-life balance was great for a start-up, which was a bit of a happy surprise. The device is a great piece of technology, and I always felt that everyone, from the top to the bottom of the company, felt committed to its success.

Cons

It's still going through growing pains from being a very-small-startup to being a small-startup, and there's a sense that management is at times too focused on external marks than on keeping the employees informed of all of the ins-and-outs that are happening, or making sure that bonuses come through in a timely manner, etc. You need to be comfortable with a bit of flux there, and with some occasionally shifting priorities.

Pros

Mostly great, smart people. Exciting and novel product that has lots of potential. Salaries are competitive.

Cons

Culture died once the company started expanding and getting corporate. Employees are treated like a resource, not as people. HR is useless. C-suite has a singular focus on sales and marketing, which leaves the engineering departments neglected, under appreciated, and understaffed.
