Pros
They provide Unlimited PTO like most tech companies. Partial health benefits, almost full. Fully remote which is nice. Mac Book for work.
Cons
Sure, startups are suppose to be messy at times but this place takes the cake. I’ve worked at 3 startups before and this place was the least organized. The processes from support, escalation, follow ups are all over the place. New workers are given terrible training which leads to work being difficult for everyone around them. No real direction from managers which is added stress to every single worker. Not enough workers to support everyone. So many people have no clue what to do at times because of the constant changes. Constant stress of possible layoffs and downsizing as well. Not enough support from the managers. They claim to have your back but when something goes wrong with merchants, but they are not always there to fully support and help with the merchant. They may give you advice on what to do but it’s just not enough. They need to be fully involved with difficult requests from merchants. The merchants are hating the product more and more without the right help and this reflects on the higher ups. The directors specifically in the success/strategy/support side have a lot of growing to do. It’s a sinking ship with those teams. Not enough help from them.
