I recently signed on with deliv. I noticed after some research that I will be charged $38 for my background check. I'm sure it was communicated in some fine print, but they definitely intentionally kept it relatively hidden. The blocks are way too long to commit to for only $6.25 per hour guaranteed. My first block, six hours long, will only pay $37.50, and apparently most of that will go to my background check. I find it extremely unreasonable for Deliv to ask me to be available 6 hours and only pay me $37.50. This is a joke. This scheduling model is not sustainable if they want professional drivers. The map is also way too large. They need zones.
