      Pros

      Working at this company will give you a true appreciation for working literally anywhere else. You will also learn to quell your moral filter since you'll spend a good amount of time being asked to do things that are blatantly unethical. Excellent practice for going into fields like law or selling used cars. Another bonus is that the working environment never gets boring or stale, because the company is 'reformed' every few months or so with brand new procedures and policies.

      Cons

      This working environment is crazy and toxic enough for TLC to film a profitable reality show. The lack of respect for employees at this company is dumbfounding. Policies and privileges for employees change from day to day and by person to person, with expectations for employees being frequently unclear or unreasonable. Employees experience a constant he-said she-said finger-pointing game from management, since no one at the top of the chain will own their actions. The projects are sold unrealistically, leaving the technical employees to shoulder the burden of impossible deadlines and expectations, as well as deal with the wrath of disgruntled clients who are upset about waiting long after agreed-upon deadlines or footing the bill for overages that were unavoidable from the very beginning. Developers are often expected to contact clients to deliver the bad news and take the blame that missteps from upper management had created. There is no emphasis on quality of work or best practices at this company. Pay (if you are paid at all) is well below industry standard, and no one is indispensable in the constantly shifting landscape of unending reform.

      At Designzillas, we always appreciate constructive feedback from our employees and encourage discussions on how to improve the quality of life at our office. The points of view provided however do not feel constructive, nor are they accurate. Points we feel that need addressing: 1) We have never asked an employee to do anything ‘unethical’ in the 8 year history of our business. 2) We pay competitive rates for a Web Design / Marketing agency in Orlando. We are not a San Francisco engineering company, nor do we promote ourselves as such. Our landscape has evolved at Designzillas to really emphasize the duality of Web development and Marketing, and as such required restructuring. We understand that change is difficult for some people, which is why we have created these open conversations regarding where we are taking the company in the future. We are sorry that you felt disrespected, we truly do. We believe in our culture as well as our employees, so we are constantly striving to make the office a creative and fun place to be. Currently we have a team of amazing employees that believe in what we do, which I’m sure would be upset by our workplace being presented this way on their behalf. We do want to thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Our company cares deeply for our people and will always encourage open and constructive feedback.

      Pros

      Working at Zillas has provided endless benefits, including a supportive team, a close-knit company culture, and a commitment to professionalism across all accounts. As an account coordinator intern, I received comprehensive training in position procedures, with the trust to handle specific tasks independently. The open-door policy facilitated seamless communication for questions and support whenever I needed. Zillas encouraged me to explore interests beyond my role, contributing to both my professional and personal growth. I'm grateful to the Zillas team for providing invaluable insights about the industry and fostering lasting connections.

      Pros

      Good culture, decent people. A little catty at times. Seems like a clique that is hard to truly integrate in. I think there are about 3-4 roles that constantly rotate new hires. I only stayed for a few months, and honestly they wasted my time. They frequently “test” new hires. If you weren’t apart of their internship program, they likely won’t keep you.

      Cons

      I thought I’d stay here long term and suddenly was just let go. I worked day and night, giving my all. I also think they only hire BIPOC based on DEI. They’re the typical “support for social media” bunch, but seem to have different views in person.
