- The company growing in size means projects become less interesting. Eg complex and difficult to maintain flows are now in place, an engineer is likely to spend more time maintaining legacy code / test infrastructure etc or writing tests for existing code than developing new features. This also means there may be limited opportunities to acquire new skills. This is a symptom of all big companies however and not only this one.
